This Website Privacy Policy explains how Magnum Telehealth LLC d/b/a Magnum Health (“Magnum Health,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit our public website, contact us, sign up for communications, begin an intake process, or otherwise interact with our online services.
Important distinction: This Privacy Policy applies to general personal information and website activity. A separate Notice of Privacy Practices explains how protected health information (“PHI”) is used and disclosed in connection with health care services under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”) and other medical-privacy laws. When information is PHI, the Notice of Privacy Practices controls to the extent of any conflict.
This Policy applies to the Magnum Health website, public online forms, marketing pages, and communications that link to it. It does not govern third-party websites or services that have their own privacy policies, including a separately hosted patient portal, laboratory portal, pharmacy portal, payment service, social network, or external scheduling tool.
We may collect the following categories of information:
We collect information directly from you; automatically through cookies and similar technologies; from clinicians, pharmacies, laboratories, and service providers involved in your requested services; from referral or advertising partners where permitted; and from public or commercially available sources when lawful and relevant.
We may use information to:
We may disclose information to:
We do not sell PHI. We do not sell consumer health data. We do not use PHI for targeted advertising without a valid authorization where one is required. Some state privacy laws define “sale” or “sharing” broadly enough to include certain advertising or analytics disclosures made on public webpages. Where those laws apply, we provide the rights and opt-out mechanisms required by law.
Our public website may use strictly necessary, functional, analytics, and advertising cookies. You may manage nonessential cookies through our cookie-preference tool where available and through your browser settings.
We do not intentionally permit advertising technologies to receive information that you type into health-intake forms, authenticated patient-portal pages, clinical messages, appointment notes, or other areas that contain PHI or sensitive health information. Tracking technologies must not be installed on authenticated patient-portal pages unless their use is legally permitted, appropriately configured, and covered by required agreements.
We may recognize legally required opt-out preference signals, such as the Global Privacy Control, where applicable.
We may send service-related emails and text messages using the contact information you provide. Marketing messages are sent only as permitted by law. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link. You may opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP. Opting out of marketing will not necessarily stop essential service communications, medication or appointment messages, or legally required notices.
Electronic communications may present privacy risks. Do not use ordinary email or text messaging for urgent medical concerns. Use the secure patient portal for clinical information whenever available.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, to provide services, to comply with medical-record, pharmacy, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and legal obligations, and to resolve disputes. Retention periods vary by information type, relationship, and applicable law. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, unless retention is required or permitted by law.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access.
Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of certain personal information; to opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling; to limit certain uses of sensitive information; to withdraw consent; and to appeal a denied privacy request.
To submit a request, email help@magnumtelehealth.com or call (713) 338-9386. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Medical-record requests and HIPAA rights should be submitted under the Notice of Privacy Practices rather than this Website Privacy Policy.
The website and services are not directed to children under 13. Our clinical programs are intended for adults age 18 or older unless we expressly state otherwise and have appropriate legal authority and consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child in violation of applicable law.
The website may link to third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of third parties that we do not control.
We may update this Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a revised “Last updated” date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice as required by law.
